The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is hosting a Disability Confident networking event so individuals can learn more about recruiting and retaining a wealth of untapped talent.
Businesses will have the unique opportunity to network with other local employers who will explain the steps that they have taken, and the benefits their businesses has gained as a result of employing experienced and highly qualified disabled people.
DWP will also signpost individuals to the range of support that is available through Access to Work to assist with recruitment and retention. The team will explain how DWP can give individuals the help and support to enable them to meet recruitment needs from a much wider pool of talent.
