Towner, with support from Newhaven Enterprise Zone, Newhaven Town Council, Lewes District Council, and SCDA are excited to bring FREE FORM by Leap Then Look to Newhaven this summer as part of the BN9 programme. Leap Then Look make unique and beautiful interactive installations designed to be played with and enjoyed by everyone. Their work has been shown at Towner, Baltic, Young V&A, National Gallery and lots of other great places.
Come and play in the beautiful site-specific, geometric, multi-coloured, mainy wooden, non-screen based, playground/maze/artwork/sculpture thingy, for kids and their adults. It’s taking the south-coast by storm and is joined on site by Abyss Brewing pop-up for pizza and beer, outdoor games, deckchairs and Supermoon sauna.
FREE FORM, a new, co-created ‘playground of the imagination’ is at the Sidings in Newhaven. By kids, for kids, FREE FORM offers free, creative exploration for families of all ages. Come and play!
3pm–7pm Fridays, 12pm–5pm, Saturdays and Sundays and August bank holiday Monday, from 2nd August until 28 September, 2025
Abyss Brewing pop-up open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, Mamoosh deli open Saturdays till 4pm
