Seahaven’s 17th Annual Business Awards

Businesses in Seaford, Newhaven or Peacehaven are encouraged to enter the annual SBA's and take advantage of an excellent opportunity to gain business recognition in East Sussex. This year the Awards will be hosted by John Young, BBC TV News Presenter and reporter, who runs his own business workshops based on his 30 years on-going experience in front-line of daily news reporting.

The Seahaven Business Awards celebrate professionalism, creativity, innovation and business excellence and have become an important feature in the local business calendar. All sectors are welcomed.

The Seahaven Awards provide business owners, small and large, employers and entrepreneurs, to tell people about their company’s success story. There are seven categories and three businesses are shortlisted in each category with finalists invited to the Awards Ceremony and Dinner on 15 May 2020.

Mike Shorer, President of Newhaven Chamber of Commerce said: "Every year there are many stand-out achievements and all three local chambers are looking forward to discovering new leaders and innovative businesses to celebrate in 2020. This coastal strip in East Sussex is an exciting place to run a business, and numerous companies deserve local recognition for their achievements."

Categories include; Business of the Year, Business Person of the Year, Best Environmental Business, Best Eatery, Best Customer Service, Best New Business and the President’s Award, Best Not-for-Profit Organisation.

The awards are proudly supported by local companies: Veolia, CleanKill, Co-op Funeralcare, HM Bookkeeping and Payroll, Arlette’s Florists, The Sussex Sign Company, Swindells Chartered Accountants, Meeching Estate Agents, Excell Design and Marketing, Fundraising Auctions, Fine Marketing, Newhaven Enterprise Zone, Not Just Travel (Daniel Ori) and SeahavenFM.

Closing date for nominations is Friday 3rd April 2020. The winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony & Dinner on Friday 15th May 2020.

The awards are free to enter, please download and use the form below and email to office@newhavenchamber.co.uk. Printed entries are welcomed and can be submitted with evidence of achievements.
